For years, lightweight road rims have faced the same dilemma — reduce grams and risk strength, or add reinforcement and lose responsiveness. At BTLOS, we refused to compromise. The AERIX series was created to achieve both: race-level lightness with long-term structural integrity.

Born from thousands of real-world data points, the AERIX Series isn’t just engineered — it’s decoded from performance itself.
Every micro-deformation, every flex point, every stress signature was captured, analyzed, and refined. From this, we sculpted a rim that understands how forces travel through every fiber — and responds with pure efficiency.
Through hybrid composite layering, we blend ultra-high modulus carbon with strategically reinforced fibers, creating a structure that’s both impossibly light and brutally strong.
Material is placed only where it earns its place — preserving torsional and lateral stiffness while stripping away every unnecessary gram. The result: a rim that translates every watt into motion, and every impact into confidence.

The AERIX PRO RS52 starts with how it’s made — not how it looks. Instead of drilling spoke holes after molding, BTLOS integrates each spoke interface directly during carbon layup.
This Fiber-Continuous Spoke Hole Design (Only for the AERIX RS52 pro) preserves uninterrupted carbon strands around every hole, forming the strongest possible spoke bed.
The benefit is immediate and lasting: spoke tension remains even, micro-cracks are virtually eliminated, and the wheel stays true longer — even under heavy torque or braking.
Each spoke hole sits on a bowl-shaped carbon platform, molded concave to match nipple alignment.
This small detail solves one of the biggest hidden problems in wheel design — lateral bending stress at the nipple base.
With this platform, spoke tension flows naturally through the fibers instead of across them, ensuring smoother load transfer, easier wheel building, and a wheel that holds tension evenly across all spokes.

The RS52 doesn’t treat both wheels the same — because they don’t do the same job.
This pairing gives riders flexibility:
| Configuration | Rider Weight Limit | Character |
|---|---|---|
| 335g + 335g | ≤100kg | Ultra-light climbing setup |
| 335g + 370g | ≤115kg | Balanced, all-round performance |
| 370g + 370g | ≤125kg | Ultra-light climbing setup |
The 25mm internal width pairs seamlessly with 30C–32C tires — the new standard for performance road and endurance racing.
It improves cornering grip, stability, and comfort while maintaining aerodynamic advantage on fast flats.
Every AERIX series rim is tested under UCI’s official impact protocol (tire removed) and passes a remarkable 90J energy test — double the requirement.
This means greater safety margin and confidence for real-world racing conditions where unseen impacts happen fast.
Professional wheel builders often notice the difference before a single spoke is tensioned.
The AERIX series’ rim perfect roundness and flatness out of the mold make truing effortless.
Even spoke tension builds up cleanly, and the wheel remains balanced after thousands of kilometers — a hallmark of high-precision engineering.
The BTLOS AERIX PRO RS52 rim strikes a perfect balance between lightweight construction and aerodynamic performance. Weighing just 335g ±15g, and paired with the GravelXpert20 hub and carbon spokes, the complete wheelset comes in at an impressively low 1058g ±25g

Our confidence isn’t built on words, but on proof.
A dedicated fan once mailed us an “ultra-light rim” from another well-known brand for comparison.
When tested side-by-side, the AERIX Series showed:
The difference was clear — precision manufacturing and optimized layup outperform overhyped claims.
The BTLOS AERIX series represents the next step in road wheel engineering — lightweight precision built for real-world strength.
It doesn’t just meet UCI standards; it surpasses them with confidence to spare.
Every detail, from spoke seat geometry to impact testing, reflects BTLOS’s pursuit of performance measured not in promises, but in results.
