Very pleased. The wheels seem well built (time will tell) and are plenty stiff. Stiffness can be taken for granted, but they are a lot stiffer than the Reynolds AR29X they substitute with no weight penalty. I would have rathered a more modern rim shape, but so it is. In terms of braking, it is excellent. Possibly the best I ve seen. The internal width and the Caracal Race tyres has allowed for a very fast and comfortable set up on a very traditional bike. 18 months after. The wheel is strong; stiff and no trueing required. Though mainly used in dry conditions, the hubs continue to run smoothly with no maintenance to date. The rim bed without holes makes swapping tyres and tubeless set up so easy. But also trueing. A short story: I broke a rear spoke in day 1 of a ~600 km gravel ride. Nothing wrong with the wheels; a big strick got tangled between wheels and frame. It was 10 am in CET and I pinged Amy at Btlos for the spoke length (my bad not bringing the spare spokes provided). I got her response within 5 min and found a nearby shop with a similar spoke. Because the rim bid has no holes, the nipples are external (yes ….a bit less aero). I was able to place the new spoke and true the rear wheel - without removing the tyre and altering the tubeless set up. Thanks Btlos
